Teruo Orikasa:

1949 – born in Fukushima Prefecture´s Minami-Sôma City (南相馬, former Haramachi [原町])

1974 – finished the Masters degree program of the post-graduate seminar „Engineering“ at the Hôsei University Tôkyô

1987 – received a PhD for engineering at the Nihon University Tôkyô

2009 – retired from the Shimizu Corporation Ltd. (清水建設) as a Grade A State-approved Architect, as Environmental Engineer, and as Noise Protection Engineer

1977 – became member of the „Nihon katchû-bugu-kenkyû-hozon-kai“ (日本甲冑武具研究保存会), short NKBKHK, the Japanese Armour Society

1984 – published together with Ishii Yukio as a private venture the illustrated book „Saotome-bachi“

1989 – member of the supervisory board of the NKBKHK

1994 – member of the executive board of the NKBKHK

2007 – member of the executive board of the NKBKHK, committee member of the shinsa and archive of the NKBKHK

At present – member of the executive board of the NKBKHK, committee member of the shinsa, the archive, and the publication of the NKBKHK magazine
